Week in Review (belated)

Good friends, good times

Wednesday at homeschool co-op, we played the game Kubb. Mike made a set for our class, which was a big hit! It's similar to chess, in that you have strategic moves.

And these littles arrived on Saturday. We, together with friends, put in an order for heritage turkeys. We chose 5 Midget White turkeys. They are in their nice warm brooder we have used for raising poultry (and more) We've used it successfully for years now. Mike made it out of a recycled changing table we found at the dump. C has been on sentry duty ever since. He makes sure they are okay and happy.

I also wanted to share a giveaway friends are having at the Wild Armadillos  (from Armadillo Dreams). Taryn and her family at Wooly Moss Roots make amazing buttons and herbal goodies. Check it out!

  2. It' been so great catching up with your posts.
The boys are getting so big.
I think of them every time I see a raptor!
Glad you are happy and well, digging around in the dirt and planting seeds.

    1. Hello, love. I've haven't been posting much any more with all the changes around here, but it's good to hear from you. J, our oldest, was recently admitted to the Pediatric ICU and diagnosed with Type 1 juvenile diabetes. We are all home now and doing well and adjusting to our new routine. Hope you are doing well and enjoying the spring :)

  3. I'm so sorry to hear about your boy.
But I'm sure you will all rally and give him the support he needs to adjust to this disease.
Will keep you all in my prayers...he couldn't have a better mother.
Thank you for sharing and know you are often in my thoughts.
much love and the biggest of hugs!
